Siblu’s Mar Estang holiday park in Languedoc is the perfect choice for a sun-soaked South of France camping experience. This lively 4* campsite is ideally-located between the warm blue waters of the Mediterranean and the Canet-Saint-Nazaire lake and nature reserve. It’s also within easy driving distance of Spain, meaning you could take a cheeky day trip across the border!  

You’ll find everything you need for a fun-filled family getaway on-site here at Mar Estang. Not only does the holiday park have direct access to the beach, so ocean dips are only a stroll away from your mobile home, it also has indoor and outdoor heated pools and waterslides galore, restaurants, shops and a beauty parlour. Plus. the kids’ clubs and evening entertainment pack in the fun for all ages.

Please note: Only the following types of swimwear are accepted at the pool complex: Trunks or lycra swimming shorts for men, and classic one or two-piece swimming costumes for women.

Places to visit near Mar Estang****

Having a beach-side base means it will be hard to leave this holiday park in the south of France - however there is plenty to fascinating places to explore nearby. The Catalan region in Spain is just 30 minutes away by car. If you like outdoor sports then spend a day on the hiking trails, or perhaps a visit to a local vineyard maybe more to your taste? Collioure, a small picturesque port is great for photos ops, and Saint Cyprien is a popular seaside resort with shops, cafes and restaurants, and a beautiful beach.

    Collioure is a stunning medieveal town on the Mediterranean coast, surrounded by terraced vineyards, with a backdrop of Pyrenean mountains. Visit the bell tower of 17th-century Notre-Dame-des-Anges Church, which was once a lighthouse, and the Modern Art Museum, which includes paintings by Henri Matisse.

    A visit to the pretty seaside resort of Canet en Roussillon, on the shores of the Mediterranean, makes for a great day out.
    Walk along the harbour and admire the boats and yachts, cycle along the Canet waterfront. For sunbathing or water sports head to the 9km of sandy, Blue-Flag approved beaches. Windsurfing, kitesurfing, beach volleyball, kayaking, paddle boarding and jet skiing are all available here.

    This highly recommended animal reserve is located between Narbonne and Perpignan, and hosts more than 3800 animals, including 2000 birds, 900 mammals and 600 reptiles. Take a tour in your car and see the African savannah, the bear park or the lion park. On foot, you will meet antelopes, chimpanzees and other zebras.
